  • Every Year at this time I think of the loss of her presence in my life, but I know her spirit will live within me Forever. I made my annual visit to Fort Whyte last week to watch the geese come home. The sunset was especially beautiful this year and although the weather was quite nasty all day long with high winds and rain... everything calmed right down when I arrived at that special place. A comforting feeling of peace came over me. It was as if she was saying "Hello my friend. Welcome back". I smiled and held myself tightly as if she was there and said, "Thank you. I have missed you".
